For the past few years, I have kept a list of my favorite quotes. I keep them for inspiration and in hopes that I may be able to use them sometime in the future to augment my writing. Here is round two:
“Never explain yourself to anyone. Because the person who likes you doesn’t need it, and the person who dislikes you doesn’t need it.”
–from Pravsworld.com
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes…the ones who see things differently—they’re not fond of rules…You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things…they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
–Steve Jobs (in my opinion, this quote was heavily influenced by Jack Kerouac’s quote…)

“Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining.”
–Anne Lamott
“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.”
–Benjamin Franklin
