I am currently working on two inspirational nonfiction books:
Book #3 will likely be titled Some (Amazing) People I Know. The premise is to tell the inspiring true stories of some people that I know personally, people who went through very difficult circumstances. I have already interviewed a handful of individuals who kindly shared what happened to them and how they made it through their challenges. Hopefully, their stories will touch and encourage readers, as they have me. (Unfortunately, there have been several delays out of my power, or else this book would have been completed a few months ago!)
Book #4 will likely be a memoir that picks up where my first book, Turning This Thing Around, left off. Though my life was finally getting better- improved health, back home among family and close friends, a new-found hope for the future- things suddenly took a turn for the worse…even worse than the struggles shared in my original memoir. I will candidly share exactly what happened, how bad things got and how I was eventually able to pick myself back up again. For now, I am predicting that this bare-all account will be much more faith-based than the original memoir.
