I have done yoga for several years and love the many benefits that it offers. But I was not familiar with Pilates until I saw the article below posted on a bulletin board at my gym. It convinced me to give Pilates a try, both on a mat and on a machine called a “Reformer.” It is a great workout that lengthens and strengthens muscles, especially many of the smaller muscles than most of us are not even aware that we have. It is great for strength AND flexibility.
